Vibrant\'s 4-port catchtanks offer you the option of returning the filtered air to the circuit (closed circuit). The 2-port version has an integrated stainless steel vent, which means that no external vent filter is required for venting to the atmosphere. In winter at temperatures below 0C°, the condensation that forms in the system can freeze. This would result in increased crankcase pressure, which can lead to engine damage.
