The engineers at 034Motorsport have gone to great lengths to create the most comprehensive and effective catch can kit on the market for the 2.5L TFSI engine. The 034Motorsport Billet Aluminum Catch Can Kit for the 8J Audi TTRS features a completely redesigned high performance design that provides optimal crankcase ventilation while keeping oil and water vapor out of the intake tract. In addition, this system prevents oil from being reintroduced into the intake tract even during hard driving and heavy cornering loads on the track. This kit drastically reduces carbon build up in the intake tract and greatly extends the life of the engine.

The APR DQ500 transmission catch can kit is here! A plastic breather is fitted to the gearbox as standard, which allows the gearbox oil to expand and the resulting gases to escape. Unfortunately, this solution is quickly overloaded, resulting in transmission oil spraying through the entire engine compartment. APR\'s system solves this problem with an easy-to-install and compact catchtank system.
The can collects the fluids escaping from the transmission and allows the trapped gases to be vented through a filter. The can only allows the liquids to enter the can at a certain angle. This prevents the fluids from spraying through the filter. The gear oil then simply flows back again if possible.

The APR Oil Catch Can System is designed to prevent excessive crankcase oil vapors from entering the intake system while the engine is under boost. In doing so, the system helps reduce oil pooling in the intercooler hoses, carbon buildup on intake valves, and the decrease in octane caused by oil vapors.
APR’s Oil Catch Can system installs between the PCV’s outlet and the inlet to the intake system and is designed to catch unseparated oil vapor. The supplied bracket and scratch resistant gasket allow the system to be installed on the required APR Carbon Fiber Intake System. This enables compatibility with all applicable MQB platform 1.8T/2.0T engines. The supplied hoses then connect and route out of site, for a clean and attractive install.
Drains in seconds- No need for tools, removal/disassembly to drain the can.

Multi-layer high-performance nylon steel hose Dash for your project. Discreet but high-quality look for almost any application!
The hose consists of a synthetic rubber layer, a steel layer and an outer nylon protective layer. This combination makes the hoses significantly more flexible than pure steel braided hoses.

OEM Hose for the crankcase ventilation to the PCV valve.
Leaking PCV systems allow the boost pressure to escape into the crankcase, which not only reduces engine performance but also creates excessive overpressure in the crankcase. This can cause further leaks in the engine.
It can also lead to irregular idling. A new PCV or its components prevent gradual loss of boost pressure. We recommend a replacement interval of 30,000 kilometres or every 5 years.

Universally applicable system for emptying catchtanks.
The aluminium shut-off valve eliminates the need to remove the catchtank. Thanks to the 1 meter long Dash 4 line it can be placed anywhere in the engine compartment and makes draining the collected liquids much easier.
Just put the cup underneath and turn it on.

What are the dimensions of DASH fittings?
In the table below we give the thread dimensions, as well as the corresponding inner tube diameters. Small tolerances are possible with the hoses. For oil supply lines we recommend -4 AN with 6mm hose and for return lines at least -10AN with 16mm hose inner diameter. For Catchtank systems we recommend Dash 10

With our catchtank, the oil vapours from the crankcase ventilation are no longer fed back into the intake tract. The filtered oil is collected in the tank.
This drastically reduces coking of the intake valves, especially in direct injection engines.

Ideal for installing a catch tank system with external crankcase ventilation and Dash 10 lines.
This prevents creeping boost pressure loss via the susceptible built-in ventilation valve of the crankshaft housing on TSI engines. Leaking PCV valves release the boost pressure into the crankcase, which not only reduces engine power, but also creates excessive pressure in the crank mechanism. This can cause further engine leaks. There may also be rough idling.

2.5L TFSI catchtank for Audi RS3 8V & TTRS 8S DQ500 BAR-TEK®
Our transmission oil catchtank for your 2.5 litre TFSI as in the Audi RS3 8V and TTRS puts an end to the oil in the entire engine compartment! The crankcase ventilation is made of plastic as standard. The transmission oil can expand here and the resulting oil vapours can escape. However, the oil splashes uncontrollably through the engine compartment as soon as the system is overloaded.
Clogged crankcase ventilation and dirty and coked intake valves and throttle valves are also typical of the standard design. You will then notice a significant drop in performance, which is particularly annoying in tuned cars. This can no longer happen to you with our 2.5 litre TFSI catchtank!
Optimised catchtank for the Audi RS3 8V & TTRS 8S DQ500
Our catchtank system for the transmission oil is easy to install in your RS3 or TTRS and is also quite compact and maintenance-free thanks to the return adapter. Thanks to its features, the additional tank ensures smooth engine running and the usual high performance.
The Catch tank collects the fluids that escape from the gearbox. At the same time, the trapped gases are channelled out through a filter. However, it only allows the fluids to enter the can at a certain angle. This prevents the fluids from splashing through the filter. The gear oil then simply flows back again.
Thanks to this drain, you don\'t have to constantly empty the oil collector catch tank. The result is cleaner combustion and increased knock resistance of the fuel-air mixture, and therefore smoother engine running overall.

A transmission oil catchtank for the 2.0L DSG is offered to solve the problem of oil in the engine compartment. The standard plastic crankcase ventilation system causes the transmission oil to expand and spray uncontrollably through the engine compartment when the system is overloaded.
This can lead to power loss and other problems. The optimised catchtank is easy to install and ensures smooth engine running and high performance by collecting fluids and draining gases through a filter.

The DAZA or DNWA is already an extremely robust platform for achieving high performance.
The standard PCV of the EA855 Evo DAZA engines works without any problems at series outputs or low power increases. With higher power increases (more than 900 hp), the flow of the OEM PCV reaches its limits. This results in increased pressure in the crankcase. The increased pressure can lead to a \"backlog\" of vapours in the crankcase, which in turn leads to power loss, increased oil consumption, possible seal failure and a shortened engine life.
Our kit supports the existing PCV by increasing the flow capacity of the system rather than removing the OEM unit completely. To do this, we utilise a check valve that only operates when the crankcase pressure rises above 0.5 PSI. Then the valve opens and releases the excess flow to the breather tank.

- Adapter for engine ventilation on the valve cover
Important information:
On vehicles where the wiper water reservoir is mounted on the right side, the VWR water tank is still required. This replaces the upper part of the water tank. This occurs especially with the first Golf R and Audi S3 models.

Note for use in cold climates:
The Catchtank is designed for a warm climate only.
In winter at temperatures below 0C° the condensation that forms in the system can freeze. This would cause increased crankcase pressure which could lead to engine damage. We recommend checking the Catchtank system more frequently in winter or removing it completely for the cold season.Manufacturer
