Oil Catchtank Kit from Volkswagen Racing for 2.0L TSI EA888 engines of the new generation 3. WITH TÜV GUTACHTEN
This kit is to be used absolutely, if your vehicle is operated on the circuit! Otherwise there is a risk of engine damage due to abruptly sucked engine oil into the combustion chamber! For us the best kit on the market at the moment, because the VWR13G700 Catchtank system from VWR prevents the penetration of oil into the charge air system. All charge air lines and the intercooler remain oil free - so the intercooler works even more effective! The advantage over other kits is that Volkswagen Racing builds on a 4-way principle, which ensures a separation of oil and condensation. A baffle deflects the oil vapors back into the engine before they condense.

Important information:
On vehicles where the wiper water reservoir is mounted on the right side, the VWR water tank is still required. This replaces the upper part of the water tank. This occurs especially with the first Golf R and Audi S3 models.
(Registration required) Note for use in cold climates: The Catchtank is designed for a warm climate only. In winter at temperatures below 0C° the condensation that forms in the system can freeze. This would cause increased crankcase pressure which could lead to engine damage. We recommend checking the Catchtank system more frequently in winter or removing it completely for the cold season.
