Lightened upgrade- crankshaft gear from BAR-TEK® for all 1.8 and 2.0 TSI EA888 engines with 2nd and 3rd generation chain.
The BAR-TEK® crankshaft gear is made of high-strength aluminium and is extremely light compared to the standard part. This puts less strain on the engine and improves performance.

If the crankshaft gear is replaced, the centre bolt must also be replaced. A shorter belt is also required.

Using a special design, these pullies will eliminate much of the vibration produced by your engine. That will keep your flywheel, trigger wheel, and timing gear on the crank even at high RPM usage!
The harmonic pullies have a precisely machined inertia ring inside along with special silicone fluid, that can absorb vibrations through all frequencies. The stock rubber dampened pulley uses rubber for dampening only for the frequency of the stock engine. These Fluidampr pullies are great for any engine setup you mave have. They do not require any frequency tuning like a stock pulley would.
You will notice engine vibrations decrease, along with decreased clutch chatter if you have a lightweight flywheel.

Harmonic vibration damper for the crankshaft suitable for all Subaru EJ20 and EJ25 engines.
The stock damper only has a rubber compound which is ONLY designed for a stock engine. The harmonic vibration damper has a GEL filling and eliminates ALL negative vibrations that occur on the entire crankshaft drive over the entire RPM range!
Especially with tuned engines, where a different crankshaft, piston or conrod are installed, the standard damper should be replaced by the Fluidampr. Otherwise there is even a risk of breaking the crankshaft at high revs!
Further advantages:- Improved idle even with conversion to single mass flywheel
- Less noise at idle
- Less vibrations in the crankshaft and gearbox side
- Reduction of turbo lag during fast gear changes
