This manifold represents a sporty evolution of the original Audi manifold, d.h.: all ducts are 38.5 mm through to the manifold without restriction (the original has z.T. tapers down to 22 mm). The manifold has 5mm more space in the region of the compressor housing than the original RS manifold, d.h. larger turbochargers can be fitted. Material: The cast material is EN-GJSA-XNiSiCr35-5-2 short designation: D5S. This material is identical to that used by VAG to manufacture its turbocharger manifolds and turbocharger exhaust housings. All flanges are in series position to the original manifold, d.h. it is a 1:1 replacement. Ideal as a replacement for the standard S2 / RS2 manifold.
