Our ambition was to develop a perfect valve specifically for the TFSI engine that can easily withstand any performance. Made from martensite, with very good corrosion properties and excellent nitriding and surface hardenability. The stem end has also been specially hardened to minimise wear on the valve, rocker arm and camshaft. Our valves offer the following advantages: High temperature resistance High tear resistance made from high-strength martensitic valve steel completely nitrided Full valve 3 wedge groove for optimum hold Quality and workmanship at the highest level The valves have standard dimensions (34mm disc). This set contains 10 valves. The VAG standard valves have the major disadvantage that they can break in engines with a significant increase in performance or with long mileage.The standard valves are hollow inside and sodium-cooled. With the very thin valve stem of only 6 mm, there is not much material left to protect the valve! When installing a new Dreinut valve, we always recommend installing new OEM valve keys. This ensures that the valve is properly seated. If used wedges are used, they may have clogged, the valve will not seat correctly and will have play.
