The turbo kit for up to 400 PS with your 1.8T 20V engine We have developed the Thor 400 turbocharger especially for the 1.8T 20V engine, as installed in the Golf 4 GTI, among others. Our latest development has a flow-optimized design so that you can get more power quickly and easily. This allows you to achieve up to 400 PS (294 kW) of power and pure fun with your GTI! Turbocharger with integrated manifold: Thor 400 The Thor 400 comes as a bolt-on kit and with an integrated manifold. This means that it can be easily installed via plug & play. And secondly, it combines the exhaust housing and the manifold into a single component. This means that turbulence can no longer occur at the point where the two parts are normally joined together. The exhaust gases therefore flow smoothly, which drastically improves the response behavior. Without the transition, there are also no more sensitive seams that suffer under stress. This increases the durability of the turbocharger. The optimized cross-section of the manifold also ensures high-boost and better performance. Increased performance made easy The Thor 400 turbocharger is designed to give you more power quickly and easily, which is why we developed it as a bolt-on kit. This allows the downpipe to be simply fitted to the original bolt-on point via Plug & Play, making installation easier. The original water and oil lines can also be installed. This kit fits all transverse and longitudinal 1.8T 20V engines with timing belts. For longitudinally mounted engines, however, you will need to make more adjustments than for transversely mounted engines. Our integrated manifold offers several advantages for your conversion: Downpipe fits plug & play, as original screw-on point. Original water and oil lines can be installed. Manifold and exhaust housing are one part and therefore less susceptible. Optimized manifold cross-section ensures high boost. More boost and durability!
