Super Alloy exhaust valves from FERREA for all BMW S55 engines.The standard BMW valves have the major disadvantage that they can break on engines with significant power increase or long mileage.The standard valves are hollow inside and sodium cooled. With the very thin valve stem of only 6mm there is not much material left to protect the valve! When installing a new Dreinut valve, we always recommend installing new OEM valve wedges. This will ensure that the valve is seated properly. If used wedges are used, they may have plugging and the valve will not seat properly and will have play. The exhaust valves have a 1mm reduced stem in the tip area to allow the use of the OEM rocker arm.
