2.7L Biturbo Steel Connecting Rods for Extra Performance
High strength I-stem steel connecting rods from BAR-TEK® for all Audi 2.7L V6 biturbo like in the S4 and RS4 B5.
When you tune the already powerful V6 2.7L biturbo engine of your Audi S4 or RS4, you quickly reach the load capacity of the stock connecting rods. This is because the rods are subjected to such extreme forces that, in the worst case scenario, they simply snap. For extra power above 500 HP we therefore recommend our steel connecting rods with I-shaft. These are optimal if you want to enjoy the full power of your Biturbo. And we are talking about 1000 HP and more. That kind of savoring!

We put a lot of emphasis on the workmanship and design of our steel connecting rods so you can focus on extreme performance gains. For the highest quality, these conrod are made from the finest materials and are machined from solid. This makes them extremely durable and at the same time they have a high bending strength. At the same time, they are so light that you can save quite a few grams. This makes them especially popular with racing fans and definitely makes for more fun on the gas pedal!

The conrod can only be installed with the RS4 conrod bearing shells. Only in this combination the conrod can be installed in the other 2.7L V6 engines (see below):Audi V6 2.7L Biturbo with engine code AZB, AGB, AJK, AZA, ARE, BES, ASJ
If the block is not drilled, i.e. the bore remains at 81.00 mm, some material must be removed from the connecting rod sides in order to be able to mount them in the bore.
