Super Alloy exhaust valves for all Audi R8 V8 4.2L FSI engines. The standard valves in the Audi R8 have the major disadvantage that they can break in engines with a power increase or with long mileage. The standard valves are hollow and sodium-cooled on the inside. With the very thin valve stem of only 6 mm, there is not much material left to protect the valve! The Super Alloy exhaust valves offer the following advantages: High temperature resistance Strong tear resistance Special heat-treated material High strength material Quality and workmanship at the highest level Super Alloy valves are made from an extremely heat-resistant alloy. The valves are suitable for engines with turbocharging and nitrous oxide injection where high exhaust temperatures are used. With 1mm oversize valves, the valve seat must be adapted. The kit contains 16 valves. Ferrea is also used in major racing series such as Formula 1, Indy, Nascar and drag racing.
