This aluminium charge pipe replaces the original plastic pipe. In vehicles with a performance increase, the boost pressure can cause the original pipe to break or burst. In the worst case, such a defect can lead to engine damage due to fragments being sucked in.
The Charge Pipe made of aluminium has a 76mm diameter which is much larger than the original. Air turbulence is reduced and at the same time the air flow is increased. This leads to a better response of the turbocharger and a higher maximum possible performance. The replacement does not require any intervention in the engine control unit. There is no risk of breakage even at exceptionally high charge pressures.
In addition, our Charge Pipe offers a thread (1/8\" inch, 21/64 fine thread) for retrofitting a water-methanol injection system. The installation is easy as this Charge Pipe Plug\'n\'Play is exchanged for the OEM part.

This aluminium charge pipe replaces the original plastic pipe. In vehicles with a performance upgrade, the boost pressure can cause the original pipe to break or burst. In the worst case, such a defect can lead to engine damage due to fragments being sucked in.
At 70 mm, the aluminium charge pipe has a significantly larger diameter than the original. Air turbulence is reduced and the air flow is increased at the same time. This leads to better response behaviour of the turbocharger and a higher maximum possible output. The replacement does not require any intervention in the engine control unit. There is no risk of breakage even at exceptionally high charge pressures.
In addition, our charge pipe has a thread (1/8\" inch, 21/64 fine thread) for retrofitting a water-methanol injection system. If this is not used, the screw should be secured urgently e. g. with Loctite.
Installation is simple as this charge pipe is plug & play and is replaced with the OEM part.
