Unfortunately, the original riser rod is not very stable and often breaks during a simple oil change. The dipstick should therefore always be replaced with the filter.

External oil thermostat Dash 8 BAR-TEK ®
Our external thermostat clearly sets itself apart from the usual thermostats on the market. Some sources of error have been eliminated with our thermostat, such as the slider tilting in the cylinder housing. In addition, our thermostat is equipped with Dash connections and can be quickly integrated into any system.

Ideal as a supplement for our TDI and TSI oil cooler kits, especially for the cold season or for short journeys.
Function: A certain amount of oil always flows through the thermostat so that the system is vented to oil cooler. Only from a temperature of approx. 90°C does the thermostat open completely and all the oil flows to oil cooler.
Connection: As printed on the housing, the lines from the engine come from one side and the oil continues to flow to the radiator on the other side. It does not matter which connection is the supply or return.
Our external thermostat always comes with Dash 8 connections. The thermostat can also be converted to Dash 10 using our adapters.

Our DSG upgrade oil cooler kit is a must for performance upgrades such as chip tuning or conversions to over 400 hp. Many DSG gearboxes only have a 10-row cooler installed, where the oil temperature in the gearbox rises sharply under high loads and the gearbox can go into emergency mode. It is then only possible to continue driving after it has cooled down, which is a no-go, especially on the racetrack.
Our oil cooler is equipped with 20 rows, which means more cooling surface. This means that the oil temperature is optimally cooled even under high loads.Features:

Our oil filter cap with connections for an external oil cooler is the ideal solution for regulating the high oil temperatures of your 3.0L TDI engine.
TDI engines already struggle with high oil temperatures from the factory. If you are driving in midsummer or your vehicle is performance-optimised, temperatures of 140° C are not uncommon.
Our oil filter cap connects the oil filter of your 3.0L TDI with the oil cooler kit. The oil cooler kit prevents high oil temperatures, ensuring constant oil pressure and optimum oil quality. This has a positive effect on the service life of your TDI engine.

Our oil filter cap with connections for an external oil cooler is the ideal solution for regulating the high oil temperatures of your 3.0L TDI engine.
TDI engines already struggle with high oil temperatures from the factory. If you are driving in midsummer or your vehicle is performance-optimised, temperatures of 140° C are not uncommon.
Our oil filter cap connects the oil filter of your 3.0L TDI with the oil cooler kit. The oil cooler kit prevents high oil temperatures, ensuring constant oil pressure and optimum oil quality. This has a positive effect on the service life of your TDI engine.

When installing a girdle kit or simply converting your 2.0T FSI (belt driven) engine to use the 06A oil pump, it is required to use the 06A oil filter housing. This is because the FSI engines have the oil check valves built in to the factory oil pump/balance shaft assembly , whereas the 06A pump does not. This kit can only be used in applications using an 06A oil pump. Each plate has water and oil provisions on the side, which can be used for an oil cooler or blocked off with the supplied plugs.

When removing the oil pump module of your 2.0T FSI (belt driven) engine to use the 06A oil pump, it is required to use this 06A oil filter housing.
This is because the TFSI engines have the oil check valves built in to the factory oil pump/balance shaft assembly. This kit can only be used in applications using an 06A oil pump.

This Oil Cooler kit has been specifically designed to fit the VW T5 fitted with the twin turbo diesel engine (180hp).

This Oil Cooler kit has been specifically designed to fit the VW T5 fitted with the twin turbo diesel engine (180hp).
The kit includes a Mocal * filter sandwich adaptor which incorporates a thermostat, so that the additional cooling only takes place when required. The kit also includes a 13 row oil cooler and braided oil hoses, mounting brackets and everything required.Please note that this production can only be installed in combination with our Intercooler FMINTVWT52
This kit is ideally suited to tuned vehicles or those that will experience extended periods of additional load e.g. when towing, or when operating in warm climates. The additional cooling will help improve engine longevity and may also ensure greater reliability.Manufacturer

Replacement oil filter for your VWR oil cooler kit for all 2.0L TSI MQB Gen.3 EA888 engines
The oil cooler kit includes a pretty special oil filter. The filter element is made of a high-flow stainless steel microfilter cloth that is guaranteed to filter out oil contaminants better than paper-based filters to prevent the risk of engine damage.
- 5 times higher flow rate of comparable paper oil filters
- Uniform filtration over the entire filter area
- Magnetic pre-filtering to remove microscopic ferrous materials before they reach the filter itself
The filter itself is available separately for maintenance. This filter has a much longer life than the factory paper elements. However, we recommend that the filter be changed every time the oil is changed.

VWR oil cooler-kit for 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.3 MQB engines. A must for optimum oil cooling in performance-enhanced vehicles. Temperatures are reduced by up to 20 degrees.
Prevents high oil temperatures, ensuring constant oil pressure and optimum oil quality. This has a positive effect on the service life of the 2.0L TSI engine.
