1.8T 20V set consisting of Wiseco piston and BAR-TEK®® Connecting rods
Our 1.8T 20V set is a team of perfectly matched components: High-quality forged pistons from Wiseco and our X-shaft steel connecting rods from BAR-TEK®® . Although you save money by purchasing the parts individually, the special thing about this set is the enormous power that is possible with it: You can easily drive up to 650 hp with it!
The Wiseco forged pistons are made for extreme performance and therefore perfectly complement our conrods. They are extremely light and reinforced, which is why they can withstand enormous loads. The piston skirt is also coated to reduce friction. With a 1.65 mm cylinder head gasket you can achieve a compression ratio of 8.5:1. Piston pins, rings and clips are included. If you still need more displacement and power, our stroker kit for 2.0 litre displacement is the right choice for you
Our X-shaft steel connecting rods have also been developed for sporty, ambitious drivers with Golf 4, Audi A3, S3, TT and Co. Their design ensures that the extreme forces acting on them are optimally distributed and thus reduced. This makes our conrods extremely stable, while they are very light at just 599 grams. The conrods alone can easily withstand up to 1000 hp! Also included are the high-quality ARP 2000 expansion screws in 3/8\" and the ARP mounting paste.

It gives you everything you need for the best performance with your 1.8T: a perfectly matched combination of forged pistons, connecting rods, connecting rod bolts, connecting rod bearings, head gasket and stud bolt.
This set alone can do it all: Our BAR-TEK® X-shaft steel connecting rods. The matching forged pistons from Wiseco is also available. All other parts are also of the highest quality: ARP connecting rod bolts, connecting rod bearings from ACL, MLS head gasket from Cometic and ARP stud bolt for the main bearing race and cylinder head.

Of course, our kit is not only an eye-catcher, but is also designed for extreme performance. With this kit, you can reach up to 800 hp with your 1.8T without any worries! This is because we only pack the best components into our Ultimate Kit and they are optimally matched to each other.
The Wiseco piston in this kit are coated on the shirt for extreme performance. At the same time, they are still quite light. This combination is of course perfect for motorsport. The piston comes with everything you need for installation: bolts, rings and clips.
Our X-shaft steel connecting rods are alsoextremely light and at the same time very stable. Thanks to their surface, they can easily withstand the high pressure loads. They are milled from solid material and have an additional hole for better piston pin lubrication (rifle drilled). They also come with everything you need for assembly: the matching ARP2000 expansion bolts and assembly paste.
These two parts are the stars of the kit and are rounded off by high-performance bolts, racing bearings and the like. As I said, more is simply not possible!

STROKER kit for (almost) all 1.8T 20V motors by BAR-TEK ®.
Our 1.8T stroker kit contains all the necessary conversion parts to increase the cubic capacity from 1.8 to 2.0L.
Advantages of the 1.8T stroker kit:- Faster revving of the engine (spool-up)
- More power due to more displacement
- Improved durability of the entire engine (stable up to approx. 800PS)
- Higher boost pressures possible
- More pre-ignition possible
- Sprocket of the oil pump is already pressed onto the crankshaft
Included in the stroker kit:
- Crankshaft forged from solid material with 92.88mm stroke (standard stroke 86.44mm)
- Forged high-performance pistons from WISECO with 8.5:1 compression ratio (bore 82.50mm)
- X-Shaft steel connecting rods with ARP expansion bolts
- Metal cylinder head gasket
- Race connecting rod bearing
Fits all 1.8T engines except the older, longitudinally mounted e. g. AEB and APU engines.
