Replacement alloy intercooler couplings for 1.9 diesel 160 hp.

A pair of alloy male to male bayonet 65mm couplers. One coupler inline bayonet nipples and the other offset.

This pair of couplers replace steel plate hose couplers that are found on the VW / Audi / Seat / Skoda 160 HP diesel engines (ARZ engine code). The couplers connect the boost lines to the intercooler.

Forge was the first company in the world to launch a replacement intercooler for the Audi TT225 in 2014.

As tuners began to modify and increase the performance of the 225 engine, Forge continued to improve the intercooler design to provide a better and more efficient cooling.

Three different types of air cores were used in the testing and development of this product. The intercooler was designed and flow tested in our Solid Works CAD system to allow maximum cooling with minimum pressure loss.

With this additional intercooler capacity, remapping the vehicle would provide further performance gains. The intercooler is a direct fit and no modification or trimming of the bumper is required.

• Offers significantly reduced intake temperatures compared to the OEM and a performance increase of +7 hp and 8 Nm torque when fitted to a standard vehicle.
• The Forge Silicone hoses supplied have been developed at Solid Works and contain an expensive inner lining of modified silicone known as Flurosilicone.
• This lining means that the hoses are suitable for use with modern long life coolants, Organic Acid Technology (O.A.T.) coolants and oil mists.
• The use of a flurosilicone liner ensures that Forge- silicone hoses is the best, most durable and preferred choice for discerning car enthusiasts.
• Suitable for ALL Audi TT225 applications, including models with headlight washer option
