      Our silicone hoses can withstand higher temperatures and boost. Essential, especially for tuned engines with higher boost pressures or water temperatures.

      We developed the hose to easily eliminate the known tearing and oil leakage from the original hose. Although the problem usually remains undetected due to its location, almost every 335d is affected.

      Our solution is a 4-layer silicone hose that can easily withstand elevated temperatures and boost pressures. We combine it with a CNC-milled coupling for perfect installation.

      The BMW S55B30 3.0L turbo engine is equipped with a water/air charge air cooling system. The charge air is cooled by a water-cooled intercooler. The water is cooled by a radiator in the front.

      The standard intercooler on the S55 engine is made of plastic and equipped with a bar & plate network. The efficiency is to be estimated therefore for performance-increased vehicles rather conservatively. In addition, there are even already burst boxes.

      Our upgrade intercooler fits plug & play. We set here on aluminum and a high-quality Tube & Fin net. In addition, our intercooler has an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties, rather than a simple powder coat.

      As the 3.0 Liter B58B30M0 (1st gen B58) turbo engine platform continues to be developed by the high performance industry and more power is extracted from the engine, CSF's high performance heat exchanger for the BMW B58 engine will be a critical component to keeping the vehicle charge air cool, and out of limp mode. The CSF BMW B58 upgraded heat exchanger for F-series vehicles will be especially important to install in upgraded turbo applications and/or vehicles running high performance tuning software.       do88 performance radiator for the intercooler system designed for an easy drop-in-fitment in your BMW M2C / M3 / M4 F8XThe S55 turbo engine that powers the BMW M2C / M3 / M4 F8X uses a Top mounted water-cooled intercooler instead of an “regular” air-cooled intercooler. The coolant in this system has its own separate cooling circuit combined of two parallel connected radiators and a pump. The larger one of these two parallel connected radiators is positioned in the front of the center cooling module, the second smaller one is located in front of the right-side wheel arch.Reducing the water temperature in this circuit is directly equated with improved cooling of the charge air (lower IAT). Due to this reason, it is important to have high performance radiators in this system to maintain as low and stable IAT as possible during tough driving. During all test we have carried out during the development of our entire BMW F8X M2C/M3/M4 product range we see clearly how the peak power is directly equated with the IAT (Intake Air Temperature).When designing our upgrade performance radiator, we started with 3D-scaning the front of the center cooling module of our M3 Competition. This gave us an exact 3D-model of the available space to expand the core in. Since this radiator is positioned in the front of the center cooling module, we have optimized the frontal area / thickness / fin specifications to maximize the cooling performance but in the meantime allow enough air to flow through for the other cooling components behind it. It is critical to design a radiator positioned in front of others with a system view instead of just optimizing one part leaving the others over heated due to insufficient air flow.Our final design is a 32mm thick single row core with multi-channel tubes. We have kept the OE style dual pass flow layout which allows the coolant to flow across the core two times before exiting the radiator. Our design extends the core height by 166mm and the thickness by 5mm all this totals into a frontal increase by 48% and core volume by a massive 75%.These improvements have in our tests resulted in a 5°C IAT reduction in combination with our side mounted radiator upgrade.All this hard work result in a product that in one way or another really will enhance the performance of your vehicle no matter if it is a standard car or a heavily modified monster! During all test we have carried out during the development of our entire BMW F8X M2C/M3/M4 product range we see clearly how the peak power is directly equated with the IAT (Intake Air Temperature).To get an exact 3D-model of the available space to design our intercooler in we did a detailed 3D-scan of our M3 Competition engine bay. In our Solidworks CAD-software we tried out several design concepts for our charge air cooler using the 3D-scan generated model.The final design concept was decided after several CFD simulations in our Solidworks Flow Simulation software. In this software we can simulate air flow and measure pressure drop and air distribution over the core. We decided not to include internal air guides since several of our simulations showed they did more harm than good. The air flow is distributed perfectly over the core with our tank design without internal air guides as many claims is good. But in many cases, these causes turbulence and disruptions in the airflow.Our final design resulted in a bar-and-plate core with TIG-welded aluminum casting end tanks. This offers a peace of mind for any High boost tune. We have managed to utilize a massive core 85% lager than OEM and decrease (16% lower) the charge air pressure drop and maintain drop-in installation without modifications. Decreasing the charge pressure drop over the intercooler has several benefits such as the turbos needs to work less to achieve target boost / lower temperature / improves throttle response. We have the equipment to calculate the pressure drop in our CFD calculation software and also real-world tests in our Superflow SF-1020 flow bench. On the water coolant side, we changed to a dual pass flow structure which allows the coolant to flow across the core two times before exiting the intercooler instead of the OE single pass structure.We use a high density offset cooling fin on both the air and water side. Several tests were performed to find optimum balance in-between the air and water fins to get the maximum heat transfer. This gives our intercooler a huge increase in active cooling area compared to OE.Naturally, this being a do88 performance product, we have executed thorough, severe, and continuous tests developing this product to ensure best performance.
