      Now that S58 tuning software supports true CAN-based Flex Fuel tuning, we are offering our own plug and play ECA solution! With CAN, there is no longer much of a need for Bluetooth ethanol sensors. A CAN-based ethanol sensor, can not only monitor ethanol content, but it will also directly communicate with the DME for full Flex Fuel operation. With a Flex Fuel tune, the DME will automatically adjust the tune from a high-powered E85 map, all the way to a pump gas map, and everything in between. This all happens on the fly, based on the live CAN-communication with our ethanol sensor. Gone are the days of doing math at the gas pump only to decide which map to flash and how many gallons of ethanol to mix! ZERO cutting and ZERO wire-taps! This kit is fully reversible and truly plug and play. The wiring integrates into the OEM harness and hoses and sensor tuck seamlessly to allow for reinstallation of all OEM sound insulation foam and engine covers. With the ethanol sensor mounting location as close to the injectors as possible, there is virtually zero lag time on the exact ethanol mixture truly entering the combustion chamber.       When combining the N55LK with our DS25 HPFP (or DS2), it is important to note that there is a minimum power requirement. This is simply to ensure that your vehicle can easily be tuned and operated like OEM. Going below these thresholds makes your tuner’s job more difficult than it needs to be. With the DS15 HPFP on the other hand (or DS1), there is no minimum power requirement so it would always make sense to use the +49% N55LK in combination with our DS15 (or DS1) HPFP. Software changes are required to run this upgrade, but we do have preset optimized maps available via Bootmod3 and MHD (coming soon). Simply check the box for the appropriate “Lift Kit” upgrade when flashing. NOTE: When pushing much beyond the flow capacity of our existing Stage 2 HPFP kit, the N55 is very much limited by the injectors.       Gen1 B58 engines have two different versions of camshafts depending on build date. These two Gen1 engine versions have been designated as Gen1 and “Gen1.5”.
