This Recirculating valve is for the turbocharged 1.6-litre EcoBoost petrol engine found in the Fiesta ST.
It is recommended for any vehicle where the boost pressure has or is going to be increased by an ECU software upgrade,
Our alternative is a fully engineered solution, offering significantly improved reliability. Our valve and installation kit replaces the original unit with a pressure/vacuum operated piston valve, that still also retains the desirable OEM ECU control over valve actuation. The new Kompact VR09 Plumb Back from Turbosmart for the 1.0-liter EcoBoost is a replacement for the Fiesta\'s factory plastic billet aluminum BOV.
The Plumb Back is a complete recirculation valve for quieter operation and OEM-style operation, with all the performance benefits of the Turbosmart BOV.
The standard bypass valve on the 1.0-liter EcoBoost engines is a weak, diaphragm-style plastic valve - a valve type with a long history of failure. The Turbosmart billet aluminum replacement valve is precision machined for unlimited boost retention, excellent response times and high reliability.
Installation is simple, and the valve bolts directly to the stock valve. No special tools are required, and all necessary parts are included.

The Kompact Shortie BOV for the Focus RS was designed with the Focus\'s high boost pressure in mind to improve performance and durability. OEM plastic BOVs, like those on the RS, have a track record of failure - they leak and become brittle with age, eventually cracking and causing serious problems. With a boost pressure of around 23 PSI in standard form, the Focus is already reaching the limits of the standard plastic BOV - and there\'s not much room to increase boost pressure before the standard valve can no longer keep up.
The compact shortie from Turbosmart is made of billet aluminium and not plastic. Its brass piston is strong and lightweight, and each BOV is individually matched to the correct piston to ensure the best fit, meaning no O-ring is needed to seal the housing against the piston. This gives the shortie unrivalled durability and responsiveness with less maintenance than aftermarket BOVs that use O-rings to seal the piston.
The Kompact Shortie for the Focus RS is available in Dual Port and Plumb Back versions. The Plumb Back is a fully recirculating BOV that offers similar volume to the standard valve, allowing you to utilise all the power of a Turbosmart blow-off valve while flying under the radar. The dual port valve offers split operation between recirculation and venting to atmosphere, allowing for quiet operation at low boost pressure and a stunning venting sound at high boost pressure - a great complement to the rally character of the Focus. The All-New Boost Tee from Turbosmart is an improved model of the proven Boost Tee you\'ve come to love. The new Boost Tee is now 33% smaller and more ergonomic and has the same functionality that makes it a crowd favorite, including the unique gate feature for maximum response to the charge pressure, lockout against unwanted tampering and ease of use.
The Boost Tee is a pneumatic bleed valve that allows boost pressure to be increased in turbocharger systems that use charge pressure-based actuators, and is suitable for both internal and external Wastegate systems. By manipulating the reference signal for an internal Wastegate actuator or an external Wastegate, it is possible to increase boost pressure beyond the base spring pressure. It is possible to increase the charge pressure by 100 to 200% over the base spring pressure.
Our proven locking system allows the regulator to increase charge pressure in defined increments, and the locking mechanism allows the boost pressure to be set and secured from tampering.
