      What is the BOV Delete Emulator?

      Our delete plug is an electronic module that simulates the signals of the original blow off valve. After removing the OEM BOV, the emulator ensures that the engine control unit no longer issues error messages, guaranteeing trouble-free use.

      Function

      To install, simply remove the original BOV and connect our connector to the corresponding plug.

      • Permanently eliminates error messages (DTC) after removal of the standard BOV.
      • Reduces unwanted air leaks and enables precise control of the boost pressure.
      • Especially for Audi EA855 2.5 TFSI RS3 and TTRS.
      • No visible cables or components in the engine compartment.
      • By removing the BOV, the boost pressure in the engine can be better controlled, resulting in a more consistent power output.

      The excess boost pressure is diverted directly in front of the throttle valve. Since the valve in our system is located behind the intercooler, only the cold air is circulated. The pop off valve is standard in many engines before the intercooler and thus only hot uncooled air is circulated.

      The standard valve is installed directly in the turbocharger and is usually damaged in the course of time by the permanent heat so that it leaks. A leaking valve will result in poorer response and performance losses, which is not immediately noticed in most cases, as the damage is insidious and does not occur suddenly. As a result, you get used to a deteriorating response and loss of performance.

      The kit uses the kit to move the valve to a cooler area, with the added benefit of eliminating heat damage and allowing cooler air into the intake system. The cooler the air, the better the cylinder filling, which also results in higher performance.

      Please note that your intake manifold has a connection for the return from the pop off valve.

      If you only want to change the pop off valve without converting to K04 Turbo you will need the cap on the turbocharger. See accessories below.

This is a good concept because the valve can react very quickly and it only opens when it needs to.However, there are some problems with these valves. There are typically two types of solenoid-actuated diverter valves found standard on VAG and European cars, both of which have their shortcomings.Common OE Problem #1The diaphragm types are commonly known to rupture, especially when boost and temperature are increased as a result of chip tuning.Common OE Problem #2The plastic piston-type leaks far more than most people realise (by design, not from wear), and doesn’t always close after a high-boost gear shift.Additionally, in both cases, the solenoid on the OE diverter is directly connected to the valve mechanism, which is not ideal because neither it nor the return spring are strong enough to open and close the valve reliably at high boost.With problems like this, you can see why other aftermarket manufacturers assume the best solution is to replace the factory diverter entirely. Unfortunately though, whilst their replacement kits might be stronger than the factory diverter, their slower response speed and lower flow do not justify the extra cost and complexity - more of a compromise than a solution.GFB has taken a different approach to deliver a complete solution that solves existing problems and improves performance, without compromise or a hefty price tag.The DV+ addresses the factory valve problems with a very simple and elegant solution. Keeping the factory solenoid retains all the benefits of the stock system, and replacing the valve parts with indestructable metal components ensures strength and reliability no matter how much boost you run.That's not all.       The Splitter is a truly remarkable valve that gives a combination of blow off and recirculation valve operation all at the same time and has been specifically designed for the many VAG 1.8T applications. This means you get all the noise of the blow off valve whilst retaining the compatibility with the recirculation requirements of the engine management system. As a bonus we also offer the ability to convert the valve to recirculation only mode for those times when stealth running is required.

      This valve uses a Copper and Zinc alloy piston which utilises new sealing technology along with a variable spring preload incorporating a ratchet type top adjuster that will allow for the positive and precise adjustment to match the valve to your engine. This is achieved by using a unique single, conical, progressive rate spring that can allow for the retention of boost pressure over a wide adjustment range. This unique spring design also allows for unrestricted piston travel and flow volume regardless of the amount of pre-load adjustment added to the spring. Other manufacturers valves using cylindrical springs with adjustable pre-load often experience restricted piston travel and a reduction in flow volume.

      Please Note: This valve requires installing the opposite way to the original Bosch Valve. i.e. the side pipe is fitted into the Turbo Intake Hose and the base pipe connects to the hose that runs to the boost side of the turbo.

      Forge Motorsport is proud to release the latest version of our very popular solenoid driven valve for the 2013-on VAG 1.8 TSI engine (US codes CPKA and CPRA) and 2.0 TSI engine (Euro code CNTA, CHHA, CHHB, CJXB and CJXC;US codes CPLA and CPPA). This valve is a full replacement atmospheric blow-off valve (i.e. noisy) that integrates seamlessly with the OEM electronics and results in no detriment in performance, and absolutely NO fault codes or check engine lights, which isn’t something that can be said of our competition !

      Like our full replacement recirculating valve option, this valve is fully engineered to remedy the failure issues experienced with the OEM solenoid valves when their diaphragm may rupture which results in a boost leak. The later revision OEM valves have a longer lift but ultimately the plastic brittles and in extreme circumstances, parts of the plastic can break off. Our valve uses full billet alloy construction with a piston based internal design that provides for significantly improved reliability over the OEM valves along with lightning fast response. It has also been proven in cars running over 600bhp !

      This new valve has a very short overall installed height, which enables fitment of this atmospheric valve into the tight space between the turbo and the inlet hose from the airfilter, older larger valves and sandwich plates will not fit this engine.

      This valve is for VAG vehicles equipped with the 1.4T, 1.8T & 2.0T FSI or TFSi engines, including the latest models fitted with the IHI turbo, (or 1.4T using additional fitting kit FMBGFK3) that have the electronically controlled bypass valves. It is recommended for any vehicle where the boost pressure has been increased by an ECU software upgrade and for unmodified vehicles fitted with the earlier version of the OEM valve that operate in warmer climates, as a solution to the many failures of the diaphragm that have occurred.
